Andries Ulderink who was supposed to take charge of Cape Town City at the beginning of 2025/26 season has left the club.
The Dutch coach arrived in Cape Town a few weeks ago and was set to take charge of the head coach role at the Citizens at the beginning of 2025/26 season.
He was already present in City training sessions before their first game in the PSL Promotion Play-offs, and he was in the stands for the 0-0 draw against Orbit College.
The latest information received by this publication is that Ulderink will not be taking up the head coach role at City because he is expected to join German giants Bayer 04 Leverkusen as the assistant coach of Erik ten Hag who recently took charge.
City will continue with their fight for the Betway Premiership status this coming Wednesday when they face Casric Stars at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
