Cape Town City are set to part ways with experienced midfielder Keagan Dolly after just one season.

iDiski Times have it on good authority that the Citizens will part ways with the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder ahead of the new campaign.

When the left-footer joined City last season he signed a one-year contract. Now, Dolly’s contract with CT City will expire at the end of June, and the club won’t trigger their option.

After Citizen fell short in their fight to return to top flight, the club’s management made a decision of looking into their squad and make changes.

City were close to returning to the Betway Premiership after finishing third in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and went on to contest in the promotional playoffs but finished bottom of a three-team league which saw Milford gain promotion and Magesi FC get relegated.

The Cape Town-based side were dominated by under-20 players in their team with many of them catching a lot of attention immediately after the playoffs.

It remains to be seen where Dolly’s future lies after stints with Ajax Cape Town, Sundowns, Montpellier, Chiefs, TS Galaxy and CT City.
