Cape Town City are casting their eye on former Leicester City and Amajita player Khanya Leshabela, iDiski Times can confirm.
Leshabela, 24, spent most of his career in England where he came through the ranks at 2015/16 Premier League champions Leicester City.
He came through all the development levels of Leicester from U18 to U21, before being promoted to the first team. He also spent time loaned out at Shrewsbury in 2021/22, and Crewe Alexandra in 2022/23 before returning to City.
His only EPL appearance for the Foxes was in 2021, making his debut against Sheffield United.
This publication understands that Leshabela will be training with Cape Town City for the next few days. He is expected to travel with the club to Johannesburg where they will be camping this coming week.
City already completed the signing of Namibian international Prins Tjiueza, who recently participated in the African Cup Of Nations.
