Davids To Leave Raja For New Club

Raja Athletic Club assistant coach Fadlu Davids has agreed to join Simba SC ahead of the new season.

Davids was outlined by the front-runner earlier last week as first reported by this website.

After impressing the club’s hierarchy in his interview, the club moved swiftly to secure him from Raja where he still held a running contract.

iDiski Times has been informed Davids has agreed a two-year deal with Simba and will rope in Darian Wilken as his assistant, while Mueez Kajee will join as his performance analyst, both of whom were part of the historic Raja technical team this past season.

Fadlu Davids, Josef Zinnbauer, Mueez Kajee and Darian Wilken.

Former Mamelodi Sundown strength and conditioning coach Riedoh Berdien who was previously working in Tanzania with Young Africans has also been confirmed as part of the technical team.

This publication understands they are set to arrive in Dar Es Salaam on Friday to start their pre-season preparations with the East African outfit.
