Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of former Chippa United winger Thabiso Lebitso.
United announced the departure of Lebitso on Thursday after five years with the club . The speedy winger made 97 appearances for the Chilli Boys.
He made 15 appearances this season across all competitions and scored one goal in the Carling Knockout Cup.
A close source confirmed to iDiski Times that Lebitso has now signed with Pirates. It is understood that a two-year contract with an option to extend has been agreed.
The Buccaneers will be Lebitso’s second professional after making his professional debut for Tshwane University Of Technology back in 2019.
The former TUT winger is the third player from Chippa United to join Bucs in a space of a year, following in the footsteps of Bienvenu Eva Nga and Azola Matrose.
