Durban City FC have confirmed the departure of Pitso Dladla ahead of his move to Golden Arrows, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
Dladla had been with the club even before it was rebranded from Maritzburg United to Durban City, spending most of his time there as an assistant coach.
In February, he took charge on an interim basis after the KZN outfit sacked Sinethemba Badela, who lasted only three games in the role.
Dladla led the club to Nedbank Cup success, winning the trophy after defeating TS Galaxy in the final.
“Durban City FC can confirm that coach Pitso Dladla has left the Club,” the club confirmed.
“Dladla departs after a defining spell at Durban City FC, having contributed to the Club’s promotion to the Betway Premiership in a technical capacity, and later guiding the team to Nedbank Cup glory as interim coach.
“Durban City FC thanks Pitso Dladla for his contribution to the Club and wishes him every success in the future.”
As previously reported, Dladla is set to take over as head coach of Golden Arrows, replacing Manqoba Mngqithi.
