S’fiso Hlanti’s contract with Kaizer Chiefs is coming to an end in June but there’s an option to extend.
Hlanti joined Chiefs in 2021 after one season with Moroka Swallows. He previously won Telkom Knockout and a league title with Bidvest Wits.
The experienced defender has been instrumental for Amakhosi this season so far, having made 14 appearances and one assist in all competitions.
While the 33-year-old’s current contract is coming to an end in June 2024, his representative Mr Sizwe Ntsangase explained that there’s an option to extend his deal.
So Hlanti’s side will wait for Chiefs to see what’s gonna happen in the next few weeks.
“Hlanti has an option in his contract,” Ntshangase told iDiski Times.
“We will wait for the club [Kaizer Chiefs] to see what’s gonna happen, they are back next week.”
Amakhosi are expected to return to training next week after a three-week break.
