Latest Signing Breaks Silence On Chiefs Move

Kaizer Chiefs latest signing Inacio Miguel says he is very excited to start his new chapter at Naturena.

Miguel, 28, was unveiled as Chiefs player on Wednesday, joining the club on a three-year deal from Petro de Luanda in his home country.

The Angolan international defender picked Morgan Gould’s former shirt number 83, after becoming the fifth new signing under Nasreddine Nabi.

“Very happy and excited to start this new chapter with Kaizer Chiefs,” he stated on social media.

Miguel also sent a message to his former club’s fan base, saying it’s not a goodbye.

“Tricolor Nation, when I arrived at Petro de Luanda, I knew I was taking on a great challenge. I gave everything I had, in every training session, in every game,” he continued.

“Together, we wrote a story that will forever be marked in my memory and in my heart. I defended this shirt with all my soul, and at every moment I felt your unconditional support.

“Today, I say goodbye to this club, which has become much more than a home – it has become part of who I am. I take with me the memories, the achievements, and the affection of each one of you.

“Thank you, Petro de Luanda, for everything we have achieved together. This is a farewell, but not a goodbye. See you soon.”
