Stellenbosch FC midfielder Jayden Adams has travelled to Tshwane to complete his highly anticipated Mamelodi Sundowns move.
The 23-year-old talented midfielder left Cape Town this morning for Johannesburg and is set to complete his medicals this afternoon and sign on the dotted line.
Sundowns have been after Adams’ services since the previous season under Rulani Mokwena but couldn’t agree with Stellenbosch on the deal.
With the last bid being accepted, the Bafana Bafana midfielder had a perfect send-off at Stellies as he scored in his last game and helped the Cape Winelands side to reach the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal stages.
The move will see Lesiba Nku moving in the opposite direction permanently after it emerged that Stellies have admired Nku since his days at Marumo Gallants and they will finally have him.
