Former SuperSport United, Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kamohelo Mahlatsi is set to join Chippa United, iDiski Times has learnt.
After having their FIFA ban overturned, Chippa United had indicated they would announce “one or two major signings” on Deadline Day.
The 25 year-old had been a free agent since parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs last year, but sources told iDiski Times he has now joined the Chilli Boys and already trained with his new club on Friday.
The once-promising youth star came through the ranks at SuperSport, also spending time on loan at Ubuntu Cape Town and AmaTuks.
He then joined Swallows for two seasons, making 55 appearances for the Dube Birds, before moving on to Chiefs. But he made just seven appearances in all competitions for the Amakhosi, who parted ways with him in September.
