Orlando Pirates’ latest signing Selaelo Rasebotja was named in Jose Riveiro’s starting XI to face Plymouth Argyle on Friday.
The Buccaneers have only unveiled new winger Gilberto so far, while Talente Mbatha also returned to the club after his loan.
But he’s not the only former SuperSport United player in the squad, Rasebotja has also joined, as first reported by SABC Sport.
The 23-year-old was more of a fringe player under Gavin Hunt at Matsatsantsa, but has now boosted Jose Riveiro’s midfield options.
He’s a product of the School of Excellence and walked straight into Riveiro’s first starting XI, while Gilberto, who only arrived in camp on Thursday, did not make the squad to face the Championship side.
