Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro looks set to make a move to Saudi Arabia in a late twist after initially closing in on a move to Chippa United.
The 32-year-old striker has received several offers since parting ways with Amakhosi at the end of last season, with approaches from teams in Iraq, Hong Kong, Tanzania and three clubs in the Betway Premiership.
However, sources have now confirmed a deal has been agreed, verbally, with a club in Saudi – and the player has now travelled to compete the move, which is subject to a routine medical and final paperwork.
Chivaviro is part of the players who left Amakhosi at the end of last season after netting nine goals with one assist in 45 games for Chiefs over his two seasons at the club.
