Golden Arrows have announced the appointment of Pitso Dladla as the club’s new head coach following the departure of Manqoba Mngqithi.
Dladla had been with Durban City even before it was rebranded from Maritzburg United, spending most of his time there as an assistant coach.
In February, he took charge on an interim basis after the KZN outfit sacked Sinethemba Badela, who lasted only three games in the role, leading them to Nedbank Cup success, winning the trophy after defeating TS Galaxy 2-1 in the final.
Meanwhile, Arrows secured their first top-eight finish since the 2020/21 season but somewhat surprisingly parted ways with the head coach.
On Wednesday, Dladla was announced as Abafana Bes’thende’s new head coach, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
“We welcome Head Coach Pitso Dladla to the club. Sthende Nation welcomes you,” the club stated.
Dladla’s first official match in charge will likely be the MTN8 quarter-final clash against Kaizer Chiefs when the 2026/27 Premier Soccer League campaign will kick off.
