Bayern Munich have signed Moroccan World Cup star Ismael Saibari from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.
The German giants announced the signing of the 25-year-old on Wednesday, with Saibari penning a deal until June 2031.
“FC Bayern have signed Ismael Saibari (25) from PSV Eindhoven,” the club stated.
“The forward is currently on national team duty for Morocco at the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
“He will move from the Dutch champions to Munich after the tournament. Saibari has been handed a contract until 30 June 2031. He will wear the number 34 shirt for FC Bayern.”

Saibari has been making headlines at the 2026 World Cup, becoming the first Moroccan to score in each of the group stage matches to help the Atlas Lions reach the knockout stages, where they eliminated Netherlands on penalties.
Saibari himself expressed his excitement about the transfer. “As a child, you dream of signing a contract with a club like FC Bayern – everybody knows it’s one of the world’s biggest clubs,” he told his new club.
“FC Bayern compete for the biggest titles like the Champions League every year, and I want to win as many trophies as possible here.
“FC Bayern’s play suits me, I can play my own style of football here, and I’ll work hard every day to help the team. Coach Vincent Kompany played a key role in my decision – I’m looking forward to working with him.”
