Zimbabwean newbies Scottland FC have confirmed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat.

Scottland FC recently gained promotion from the second division to the Zimbabwean top flight. They seem to have an ambitious project, and confirmed the coup of signing of highly-rated Billiat.

The 34-year-old is expected to spend one season with Scottland FC and help them to settle in the Zimbabwean Premier League.

The former Chiefs and Sundowns forward had a good previous season in the Castle Lager Premier League, as he was voted as one the best players.

He brings a wealth of experience to the side as he has previously won the CAF Champions League and participated in high club competitions like the FIFA Club World Cup.

Billiat, who revived his career in Zimbabwe after his Chiefs exit, was also linked with a return to the Premier Soccer League in South Africa but opted to stay in his home country.
