Kaizer Chiefs have announced striker Tashreeq Morris as Nasreddine Nabi’s third January signing to bolster their attack, while Christian Saile joins SuperSport United as part of the swap deal.
Amakhosi have been criticized for not taking the many chances they have created this campaign having only found the back of the net on 16 occasions in 13 Betway Premiership matches but have conceded the same number of goals (16).
Chiefs’ trusted strikers Ashley Du Preez and Ranga Chivaviro have struggled to hit the back of the net on a regular occasion, scoring just five goals between them in the league.
On Monday afternoon, Amakhosi confirmed the signing of Morris from SuperSport United on a two-and-half-year deal.
“Morris has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at Chiefs until 30 June 2027. This move is part of a strategic swap deal, which will see striker Christian Saile head the other way,” the club stated.
