However, as pre-season continues on Monday, the club also continues their squad revamp and have announced the departure of Mdantsane.
“Kaizer Chiefs and midfielder, Mduduzi Mdantsane have mutually agreed to part ways,” the club stated.
“The 30-year-old player joined Amakhosi from Cape Town City at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
“Last season, in order to accumulate some game-time after recovering from injury, he spent the latter part the campaign on loan at Richards Bay FC.
“During his time with Chiefs, Mdantsane made 16 appearances across all competitions.”
Mdantsane is the club’s fifth exit ahead of 2025/26, following Sabelo Radebe, Ranga Chivaviro, Edmilson Dove, while Njabulo Blom returned to his parent club.
