Former Moroka Swallows defender Gregory Damons has completed a move to Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Highbury FC.
The experienced fullback previously turned out for Betway Premiership sides Chippa United and Cape Town Spurs before his stint with the Dube Birds.
Over the past two seasons, Damons plied his trade in the second tier, turning out for Pretoria Callies and Venda FC.
Following his departure from the Limpopo-based outfit, Highbury took to social media to officially unveil the defender as they ramp up preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.
“Highbury FC is pleased to announce the signing of Gregory Damons,” the club announced on social media.
“The experienced right back joins the club after spending the past two seasons in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Venda Football Academy and Pretoria Callies.
“Returning to Gqeberha, Gregory brings valuable experience, defensive quality, and a strong work ethic to the squad as we continue to strengthen ahead of the new season.”
