Newly-promoted Betway Premiership side Magesi FC have unveiled their 12 new signings on Friday, including Kgaogelo Sekgota and Gift Motupa.
Clinton Larsen’s men had won the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season to book their spot in the Premier Soccer League top flight.
After previously announced 12 exits, Magesi unveiled their new blood on Friday, with iDiski Times’ journalist Lethabo Kganyago in attendance.
Among the new faces was former Chiefs winger Sekgota, who left Stellenbosch abruptly mid-season, and will look to revive his career. The 27-year-old also had spells at Swallows FC and Wits after returning to South Africa from Portugal.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Motupa, a former Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Baroka star, will also be looking to revive his career after his failed return to Bakgakga earlier in the year.
Another new face it Menzi Ndwande, 27, who was last at Chippa United, but played previously for TS Galaxy, AmaZulu, Uthongathi Bloem Celtic and All Stars.
In addition, new goalkeeper Bongani Mpandle was also unveiled after leaving his role as back-up to Darren Keet at Cape Town City, while Jacob Everson joins from Swallows after their demise.
Malawian international Limbikani Mzava was last in South Africa with AmaZulu, having also played for Highlands Park, Golden Arrows and Mpumalanga Black Aces.
