Stellenbosch FC have announced they have parted ways with former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota with imediate effect.
Sekgota, 26, only joined Stellies in the previous transfer window after mutually agreeing an early departure from Amakhosi.
He made 17 appearances for the Winelands club, scoring one goal, but they now announced his surprise departure on Monday.
“Stellenbosch Football Club can confirm that the Club has parted ways with Kgaogelo Sekgota with immediate effect,” the club stated.
“Sekgota joined the Club at the start of the current season and made 17 appearances across all competitions, helping the team win the 2023 Carling Knockout trophy in the process.
“We would like to thank him for his service over the last six months and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
