Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of midfielder Jayden Adams from Stellenbosch FC.
Adams, 23, joins the club after a long protracted contract saga, in which he was essentially priced out of a move in the off-season with a R30-million price tag.
Sources have indicated a club-to-club agreement was reached last week in a deal that could reach up to R20 million.
Adams has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option to extend, which could take his deal until July 2030.
The South Africa international who is comfortable as a six and eight racked up 139 appearances for his hometown club, scoring nine goals, with 10 assists.
