Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori has reached an agreement with AmaZulu, iDiski Times has learnt.
Ofori, 30, left Pirates at the end of the 2023/24 season after his contract expired and it was not renewed.
The 30-year-old won three MTN8 trophies and two Nedbank Cup trophies with the Buccaneers.
He made 58 appearances for Bucs, keeping 29 clean sheets and conceeding 35 goals in the black and white.
He also represented Ghana at the AFCON, which was hosted in Ivory Coast.
iDiski Times learned that Usuthu reached an agreement with Ofori, as they aim to boost their goalkeeping department. He is expected to compete with Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Veli Mothwa and Olwethu Mzimela.
The Ghanaian joins Usuthu as a free agent. Free agents are allowed to join the team of their choice outside window transfer, if they become free within the transfer window.
