Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Erwin Saavedra will spend the remainder of the season at Club Bolivar.
The Bolivia international joined Sundowns from Bolivar in February 2022 with a massive reputation in a reported R15-million deal.
But after suffering injury on his debut in the CAF Champions League against Al Hilal he’s struggled to maintain fitness to become a regular feature in the Sundowns squad.
iDiski Times understands Sundowns are keen to hold onto the talented midfielder and believe he will come back stronger, having recovered from his latest setback in Bolivia.
Saavedra has now secured a loan move back to the club he came from with no option to buy, where he will contest in the Copa Libertadores this season.
