Sekhukhune United have unveiled the signing of right-back Medupi Thokolo from Casric Stars ahead of their season opener this weekend.
The promising defender joins as their 11th signing of the current window as Eric Tinkler’s side looks well stocked for the 2025/26 season, as 11 have also left, two of which were loanees, Katelgo Otladisa and Sipho Mbule.
Thokolo was an instrumental part of the Casric squad that finished third in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and unfortunately fell short in the promotion playoffs against Orbit College and Cape Town City – with the latter falling to relegation.
Babina Noko open their campaign tomorrow in the MTN8 competition, hosting a new-look TS Galaxy side who finished fifth in the league last season, one spot beneath them – at the Peter Mokaba Stadium (18h00).
