Striker Bids Farewell Ahead of Sundowns Move

Colombian striker Brayan León has shared a farewell message with Independiente Medellín, as he prepares to complete a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians are said to have secured the 25-year-old’s services as they bolster their squad ahead of the second round of the 2025/26 season.

The club has not yet made an official announcement, but the forward is expected to arrive in the coming days to join his new teammates ahead of upcoming fixtures.

León thanked Independiente Medellín for the opportunity they gave him, expressing his gratitude, having been with the club since 2023.

“Huge thanks to @dimoficialcom for opening the doors to this beautiful institution & helping me grow on this path,” León wrote on his social media.

“To all those good people I met in this past, I am grateful for the good and not so good that happened.

“Wish them the best always.”

Masandawana have also completed the signing of Monnapule Saleng from Orlando Pirates, with the winger arriving after spending the past six months on loan at Orbit College.

The Tshwane giants are also poised to welcome Khulumani Ndamane, who joined the club at the start of the season before being loaned back to TS Galaxy.
