Mamelodi Sundowns are pushing for a late transfer for Jayden Adams before the transfer window shuts this week.
Adams, 23, has emerged as one of the leading midfielders in the league and has featured 122 times for the first team with seven goals and nine assists to his name.

He’s also been a regular feature in the senior South Africa national team, and was part of the squad that finished third at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
iDiski Times have been informed that Sundowns are looking to finalise a move for their long-term target this week despite months of being far apart in the valuation of the player over the potential move.
However, with Stellenbosch set to sign Cape Town Spurs captain Chumani Butsaka this week, it appears that something could be struck, with Adams making his intention clear that he’s seeking a new challenge.
It remains to be seen whether the two parties will come to an agreement on the transfer fee, with only four days remaining in the current transfer window.
