Sundowns Snap Up ‘Secret Weapon’ Technical Team Member

Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the services of Tactical Analyst Tinashe-Shingai Mukandatsama from Sekhukhune United ahead of the new season.

Mukandatsama who has been described in the past as the club’s ‘secret weapon’ was a notable absentee at training and it’s been confirmed he’s left the club by members of the club’s technical team.

With analysts Sibusiso Makitla and Dayle Solomons both leaving in the off-season, with Makitla joining Rulani Mokwena at Wydad and Solomon moving to the Saudi Pro League, Masandawana have managed to lure one of the finest young minds in local football.

Sources have indicated he will hold a similar role defined as an opposition analyst for the first team and integrate with an experienced team of analysts with the likes of Goolam Volodia and Mario Masha.

Mukandatsama has also worked in the junior national teams of South Africa in recent years, furthering his reputation as one of the rising stars in his field.

Babina Noko will now look to replace him imminently ahead of the 2024/25 league campaign.
