SuperSport United are set to sign highly-rated defender Eric Mbangossoum after his exit from Botola Pro side Union Touarga.
The 24-year-old Chad international was due to sign from Simba SC in January after starring in Morocco over the past four years.
However, the move fell through due to disagreements over the transfer fee, in which the player has since moved on from the club upon the expiry of his contract.
Sources within Matsatsantsa have confirmed he impressed during a recent assessment and view him as a great addition as a defender and defensive midfield option for the new season.
The former Futuro Kings FC player is said to have agreed a two-year deal with Gavin Hunt’s side ahead of his official unveiling.
Mbangossoum has been capped 16 times by his country and featured in their recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros in June.
