Two New Faces Spotted In Pirates Training

Orlando Pirates had a couple of new faces spotted in first-team training this morning ahead of their 2nd leg CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture against Disciples FC.

The Buccaneers will host the Madagascar Premier League champions at Orlando Stadium on Friday evening after the 1st leg in Mauritius ended in a goalless draw.

And Jose Riveiro side had new signings Gilberto, and Deano van Rooyen presented, while Boitumelo Radiopane and Azola Tshobeni were also present after loan moves last season.

Meanwhile two more unfamiliar faces were spotted, as Siyabonga Ndlozi and Yanga Madiba also took part in training.

Ndlozi joined up with the team after a stint with Orbit College, as well as Yanga Madiba who also featured with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in the 2023/24 season.

It remains to be seen whether they will form part of the core group of players this season, with the players notably training without squad numbers during the session.
