Bayern Munich and Germany legend Bastian Schweinsteiger has predicted that Paris Saint-Germain will upset Arsenal, while FC Barcelona will eliminate Inter Milan.
The 2013 Champions League winner was in South Africa this past weekend for the Heineken trophy tour, visiting Cape Town and Johannesburg, where fans were able to meet and take a picture with the UCL trophy and the German legend.

Despite the Gunners being seen as favourites after eliminating defending champions Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate, Schweinsteiger believes the French side can upset the Gunners in tonight’s semi-final first leg.
“Ok predictions… Arsenal against Paris – Paris will go through to the final, probably an aggregate score of 4-3,” he told Heineken’s media team.
“Inter vs Barcelona – Barcelona will go through. Barcelona score a lot of goals, 5-2 on aggregate.”
Schweinsteiger, who also won the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany, also expressed his excitement about visiting Mzansi and meeting it’s football crazy fans this past weekend.
“It’s been a privilege to bring the Champions League trophy to South Africa,” he added
“The passion for football here is incredible and I was overwhelmed by the welcome I have received in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
“South African fans really understand what makes the Champions League special – the drama, the skill, and the unforgettable moments.”
