The UEFA Europa League quarter- and semi-finals have been drawn at the UEFA head quarters in Nyon this Friday.
Europe’s secondary club competition has once again been exciting to watch, with four teams that dropped out of the UEFA Champions League making as best third-placed teams in the group stages making the last-8, namely: Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, Sporting and Sevilla.
The latter are the record champions of the competition, having won six UEFA Cups/UEFA Europa Leagues.
Those four entered the draw alongside Feyenoord, Manchester United, Roma and Union Saint-Gilloise, who all qualified via the Europa League group stages, with United and Roma also having gone past the knockout stages playoffs.
It was an open draw, meaning teams from the same country were able to face each other, but the two Italian sides, Juventus and Roma avoided each other.

Juventus vs Sporting
Bayer Leverkusen vs Union Saint-Gilloise
Feyenoord vs AS Roma
UEL semi-finals:
Juventus/Sporting vs Manchester United/Sevilla
Feyenoord/Roma vs Leverkusen/Saint-Gilloise
The quarter-final first legs are scheduled for 13 April, with the second legs a week later on 20 April.
The semi-final first legs are scheduled for 11 May, with the second legs a week later on 18 May.
