iDiski Times & World Sports Betting Competition: Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is iDiski Times, in collaboration with World Sports Betting.
2. Eligibility
2.1. This competition is open to:
• South African citizens or permanent residents,
• aged 18 years or older,
• who are active subscribers to the free iDiski Times e-paper, and
• have a valid South African bank account.
2.2. Employees, directors, agents, or consultants of the promoter or World Sports Betting, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry Period
The competition opens on [insert start date] and closes on 11 April 2025 at 23:59 SAST. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter:
• Locate the World Sports Betting mascot, 'Worldy', in the latest edition of the iDiski Times e-paper.
• Click on the image of Worldy to be redirected to the official competition entry page.
• Complete the entry form with your valid personal details.
4.2. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
4.3. Entry is free of charge, and no purchase is necessary.
5. Prizes
5.1. Grand Prize:
• One (1) winner will receive R5,000 in cash, paid via EFT into their South African bank account.
5.2. Weekly Prizes:
• Each week during the competition period, one (1) valid entrant will be randomly selected to win a R500 World Sports Betting voucher.
• Weekly winners will still be eligible to win the R5,000 grand prize.
5.3. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services. Cash prizes will be paid into valid South African bank accounts only. Betting vouchers will be issued digitally via World Sports Betting.
6. Winner Selection and Announcement
6.1. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and announced in the 200th edition of the iDiski Times e-paper on 14 April 2025.
6.2. Weekly winners will be selected randomly and announced in each new weekly edition of the iDiski Times e-paper, or via email or social media.
6.3. Winners will also be contacted directly via the contact details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within 5 working days, or fails to meet eligibility requirements, the promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.
7. Use of Personal Information
By entering, you consent to:
• iDiski Times and World Sports Betting using your personal information to administer the competition.
• Being contacted about future promotions or news (only if you opt in).
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and will not be shared without your consent.
8. General
8.1. The promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and may request proof of age, identity, and subscription status.
8.2. The promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
8.3. The promoter's decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.4. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
9. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant or prize winner in connection with this competition.
