Kaizer Chiefs Ladies consolidated their place at the top of the Gauteng Sasol Women’s Provincial League standings after an emphatic 3-0 win over North West University at Naturena Village on Saturday.
Amakhosazana’s latest win saw them complete a streak of 10 matches unbeaten on the trot, winning nine and playing to a single draw while scoring 26 games and keeping eight clean sheets.
Unathi Mabena’s charges came into this clash with high confidence after they romped to an emphatic 4-1 crushing of Emmarentia Pirates last Saturday.
After a resolute NWU defence stood firm in the first period which ended 0-0, the Glamour Girls came out firing on all cylinders in the second stanza.
Unathi Mjijwa was first to open the scoring for the hosts in the 52nd minute, but it was only until the 83rd minute that they doubled their lead with a strike from Zanele Kunyamane. Three minutes later, Refilwe Maseko wrapped up the tie for the maximum points at home.

Chiefs Ladies moved on 46 points after 20 matches with 10 outings left to play.
