Newly appointed Durban City head coach Eric Tinkler has outlined the club’s ambitions for the season.
The 56-year-old returned to South Africa after parting ways with Ghanaian outfit Asante Kotoko last month following a brief spell in West Africa.

Tinkler has indicated that he does not intend to make major changes, instead focusing on getting the team back to winning ways.
He has set his sights on securing another top-eight finish, following the club’s achievement last season.
The Durban City coach also wants his side to make a significant impact in the CAF Confederation Cup, while competing strongly for silverware in the Carling Knockout Cup and Nedbank Cup.
“I don’t want to make massive changes because last season the club was successful,” said Tinkler.
“It’s about giving others an opportunity and getting back to winning ways.
“We want to finish in the top eight, go as far as we can in the CAF Confederation Cup, and compete in the Carling Cup and Nedbank Cup. There’s a lot to play for.”
