The Botswana outfit unveiled Letsholonyane as the club’s new head coach in September after ‘Yeye’ had departed his assistant coaching role at Zimbabwean side FC Platinum, where he was assisting Thabo Senong.
This also marked a ceremonial return to the country for the former SuperSport United midfield maestro after coaching Matebele FC in June where he enjoyed a successful spell at the club, helping them retain their top-flight status while also earning a Coach of the Season nomination.
The win over Enesia lifted Letsholonyane’s team into fourth place with 10 points having taken over when the team was sitting in seventh. They trail leaders Tonata FC by four points.
After a losing start, where Mochudi went down 2-0 to Tafic, ‘Yeye’ masterminded a 2-1 win over heavyweights Township Rollers before the success over Enesia.
Nicolas Melgarejo was first to get on the scoresheet for the visitors in the 42nd minute before Ronaldo Fortune doubled the lead in the 68th for Yeye’s team.
The clash finished on a nervy moment after Thapelo Thebeyagae grabbed the consolation in the 85th minute for the hosts but it was too little too late.
