South Africa youth international Kgaogelo Chauke was beaming with pride after reaching the 100-game milestone for English club Burton Albion.
The South Africa U23 international midfielder has become a key figure for the League One outfit since his arrival from Southampton four years ago and has featured in every minute of their campaign this season.

Featuring as a six and in a more advance midfield role, Chauke netted his first goal of the season away to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in a memorable 2-1 win for The Brewers.
“It’s a proud moment to reach 100 appearances, it’s not something everyone can say in football, so to reach 100, especially for this club, is a proud moment,” Chauke told the club’s official media channel.
“I didn’t think it would be this way, I’d end up being the longest-serving player and reaching 100 appearances, I didn’t think that far forward, but to reach this stage, in which is my fourth season now, is a good place, I’m happy to be here.”
Chauke last featured for South Africa three years ago and will be hoping his impressive form this season gets him on the radar again for the Bafana Bafana technical team.
