Zimbabwean giants Ngezi Platinum FC have set their sights on African Stars midfield maestro Lawrence Doeseb.
Doeseb is a Namibian-born player who plays for Namibian champions African Stars. The 23-year-old caught the eye of several teams in South Africa and the surrounding region after putting in outstanding performances against Orlando Pirates in both legs of the CAF Champions League.

Despite interest from several teams, no one has tabled an offer to African Stars for the 23-year-old. However, Zimbabwe’s Ngezi Platinum has inquired about Doeseb, as head coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva wants the player for his side. At this stage, there has been no offer or negotiation.
Doeseb has been named in the Namibian squad that will play back-to-back AFCON qualifiers against Cameroon in mid-November.
