Pitso Mosimane has announced his 27-man final Bafana Bafana squad for the double header against Kenya in the 2027 Africa Cup of the Nations qualifiers.
Mosimane and his men got off to a perfect start, beating Guinea 2-1 at home before thrashing Eritrea 5-0.

They currently lead the Group D log with six points, three ahead of Guinea, while Kenya and Eritrea have one points each.
Due to Kenya being one of the co-hosts of the 2027 AFCON, only one team from the group will qualify for the tournament, meaning Bafana need to secure top spot.
Next up is a double-header against McCarthy’s Harambee Stars, hosting them at Orlando Amstel Arena on 13 November before facing them away from home four days later.
Mosimane had initially announced a 38-man preliminary squad but cut it down to 27 names on Thursday, with Siyanda Ndlovu being included despite not making the preliminary selection.
As a consequence, Mosimane had to cut 12 players, including veteran midfielder Themba Zwane, as well as Orlando Pirates defender Nkosinathi Sibisi and Kaizer Chiefs’ Lebohang Maboe.
Thapelo Maseko, who scored Bafana’s crucial goal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was also not included due to his recent injury.
All 12 players cut from Mosimane’s squad:
- Themba Zwane
- Thakasani Mbanjwa
- Nkosikhona Radebe
- Khulumani Ndamane
- Nkosinathi Sibisi
- Aden McCarthy
- Lebhang Maboe
- Luke Le Roux
- Devin Titus
- Nqaba Xulu
- Thapelo Maseko
