Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-up for the CAF Super Cup Final against USM Alger at Loftus Versfeld Stadium this afternoon.
The Champions League holders will be looking to add a third trophy this season after lifting the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup at the same venue and the MTN 8 trophy.
Both sides have won the Super Cup before, the hosts in 2017 and Alger in 2023.
It’s also not the first time they face each other, having met in the group stage of the Champions League in 2020 where Sundowns were the winners.
Sundowns are also coming into the game on the back of a good domestic form where they are unbeaten in the Betway Premiership and currently on top of the log with 26 points from 10 outings.
Meanwhile Alger are enduring an inconsistent form, currently sitting in sixth place on the Algerian League 1 table with 14 points in seven matches.
Sundowns announced a late change in their starting XI, with Cassius Mailula replacing Nuno Santos, who picked up an injury in the warm-up.
Here is how they are lining up for Sunday’s clash:
Sundowns XI: Williams, Khoza, Ndamane, Modiba, Matuludi, Allende, Mokoena, Mailula, Morena, Matthews, Leon
Subs: Goss, Mvala, Basadien, Aubaas, Zwane, Ndlovu, Rayners, Van Wyk
