TS Galaxy has secured experienced defender Marks Munyai for another three years after helping them retain their DStv Premiership status.
The former Black Leopards defender was part of the Highlands Park team which was sold just before the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign to Galaxy.
Munyai helped Galaxy with his experience stave off relegation in their first season. The 31-year-old right-back has been instrumental in the Rockets team, making 35 appearances, scoring once and assisting three times this season.
Following his exploits, the Rockets decided to reward the veteran defender with a long-term contract that will see him staying at the club until 2025. ‘Skhindisengane’ says he is grateful to have been given yet another opportunity by the club.
“I’ve felt at home at TS Galaxy FC from day one. I’m happy to be part of this family. I aim to continue to contribute positively toward the success of the club. TS Galaxy is a club with huge ambitions and that’s why I decided to extend my stay. I’m looking forward to more good memories,” Munyai told TS Galaxy media
The Rockets also recently announced two contract extensions with their defence line Pogiso Sanoka and Melusi Buthelezi who are set to stay with the club until 2026.
