Richards Bay FC and Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for this afternoon’s DStv Premiership encounter at King Zwelithini stadium.
After 11 days without club football, the DStv Premiership makes a return with a blockbuster clash between the boys from KwaZulu Natal and the Soweto giants.
The Natal Richboyz have lost their last six games in all competitions and are winless in eight matches.
As a consequence, Bay made some changes to their technical team with Vasili Manousakis, who was the co-coach with Pitso Dladla, named as the club’s new head coach.
Meanwhile, the CAF Champions League spot remains up for grabs and Pirates will look to overtake SuperSport United, who only play later, if they do get a win.
Jose Riveiro’s side, who have won eight out of their last 10 games in all competitions, has a chance to return to CAFCL for the first since the 2019/20 season, currently sitting two points behind Gavin Hunt’s men on the log.
These two sides only faced each other once, which was earlier at the beginning of the season when they played a goalless draw at Orlando Stadium.
The Natal Richboyz finished the game 10-man after Siyanda Msani received a red card right at the end of the first half.
