South Africa international winger Gift Links racked up his 100th appearance for Aarhus GF this weekend in their 1-0 win over Viborg.
The 24-year-old joined the Danish Superliga club from Cape Town City in what was confirmed as a ‘record sale’ in 2019 believed to be in the region of €800,000.
And while he’s not featuring in his preferred inside forward role this season, he started seven consecutive games as a left-midfielder in their 3-4-3 system racking up two assists.
It marks a special milestone for the academy product of the now-defunct Platinum Stars where he burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old before earning a senior international call-up from then-head coach Stuart Baxter.

Having left South African shores shortly after for Egyptian Premier League club Al Assiouty Sport now known as Pyramids, he returned to the DStv Premiership with City and developed into one of their key players, scoring five goals and registering four assists in 37 games before landing a move to Europe.
He last featured for Bagana Bafana in March 2021 in a 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe in their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the National Sports Stadium in Harare under Hugo Broos.
