Manchester United were among the busiest clubs on Deadline Day and have announced three new signings, while Mason Greenwood has been sent out on loan.
Late on Deadline Day, United finally confirmed the loan of Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina to bolster their midfield.
“It is a huge honour to become a Manchester United player. I’ve had to be patient for this moment but I’m someone who always listens to my heart and now I am representing the club of my dreams,” he told his new club.
“I am a passionate player; I want to bring that energy to the squad, and I will put everything into every action I take for the team.”
Earlier in the day, United also confirmed the loan of Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur to counter their injury crisis in the left-back position.
“In life you have to be ready for everything and the chance to represent this great club with such an illustrious history is one that I could not turn down,” he stated.
The first arrival of the day was Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who joined the club from Fenerbahce on a four-year deal, which includes an option to extend.
Meanwhile, just after midnight South Africa time, United confirmed that Greenwood had joined LaLiga side Getafe on loan.
“Mason Greenwood has signed for La Liga side Getafe CF on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance,” the club stated.
“The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United.
“The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.”

Two weeks ago United had announced that Greenwood would continue his career away from Old Trafford after he was suspended following the criminal charges against him relating to attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Even though he was found not guilty after the withdrawal from key witnesses, and initial rumours that the club were keen on continuing with him, they eventually changed their minds following growing public pressure.
