Chiefs Make Fixture Announcement

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that there will a change of venue for their upcoming DStv Premiership fixture against Cape Town Spurs.

The fixture had originally been scheduled to be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, but the club announced on Friday that instead it will be at their home ground, the FNB Stadium.

It is not yet clear whether supporters will be allowed at this game, as Chiefs are set to face the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee after the recent unruly behaviour by their fans at the Carling Knockout Cup match against AmaZulu.

Having already been disciplined this season for similar antics, the club looks set to face a stadium ban, having been warned of the possibility last month already.

Chiefs travelled to Durban to play Golden Arrows on Saturday, with the Spurs match scheduled for Wednesday, the 8 November.

The club will not be in action next weekend when the Carling Cup Knockout quarter-finals take place, after being eliminated from the tournament.
