Lamontville Golden Arrows have made a fourth signing of this ended transfer window in the PSL, confirming the arrival of Zambian defender John Mwengani.
Mwengani was previously at Kansanshi Dynamos and has played for several clubs in his home country, including Konkola Blades, Forest Rangers, Nkana, and Nakambala Leopards F.C1.
The 29-year-old has represented the Zambian national team in a friendly match twice, and his last call-up came against Bafana in a friendly match in March 2018 where they lost 2-0.
Mwengani follows his compatriot Moyela Libamba, who was signed in the past couple of days ago by the spiraling out-of-control Arrows.
Libamba joined Arrows from Forest Rangers.
Other players who have been signed by Arrows in the window are Kagiso Malinga and Sibusiso Sibeko, as they look to get back to winning ways when the season resumes next month after the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Abafana Bes’Thende will host log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at Mpumalanga Stadium on a Valentine’s Day.
