Al Ahly forward Kahraba says they will retain their CAF Champions League title this season.
The Egyptian giants eased past Tanzania Premier League side Simba SC with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline with the Egypt international scoring the third and final goal.
As the last four approaches, they will face five-time Champions TP Mazembe in their quest for a record-extending 12th title.
Speaking to BeIn Sports Kahraba said it ‘didn’t matter’ who they would face between Mazembe and their quarter-final opponents Petro de Luanda.
“Al-Ahly does not choose [preferred opponents]. Al Ahly faces any team [without fear],” he stated boldly.
“Al Ahly is bigger than any team on the continent, and we were African champions last season, and we will be champions in the current season as well.”
The Red Devils return to Egyptian Premier League action this evening when they face ENPPI at 22h00 – hoping to close in on league leaders Al Ittihad who are 10 points ahead, but have played eight games more than the Red Devils,
