Sundowns qualified for the CAF Champions League group stages for the 10th time in a row this past weekend beating Swaziland giants Mbabane Swallows 8-0 on aggregate.

Downs haven’t conceded a goal in their past three games, which includes the league match against their Tshwane-rivals, SuperSport United, whom they beat 2-0.
Meanwhile, Gallants find themselves sitting joint bottom of the table after losing both their opening matches, against Kaizer Chiefs and Lamontville Golden Arrows. Dan Malesela’s side have conceded the most goals in the league (4) more than any other team and have scored just a single goal.
Downs and Gallants have faced each other six times. The defending league champions have won four matches and two ended in draws. A total number of 13 goals have been scored in this fixture.
There were notable absentees from Sundowns’ squad again, as Teboho Mokoena and Khuliso Mudau again didn’t make the selection.
