Raja Athletic Club and head coach Ricardo Sa Pinto are set to part ways after just 11 games.
It will now mark their second coach this season since the exit of Josef Zinnbauer – who won the domestic double unbeaten in the 2023/24 season.
Bosnian coach Rusmir Cviko, who was appointed after falling to agree terms with Sead Ramovic lasted eight games, while his Portugese successor has lasted 11, with two wins, six draws and three defeats.
Tensions have been running high within the club’s technical team, squad and hierarchy, leading to the decision to part ways, with only two months salary agreement in place, showing the severity of the situation.
Sa Pinto was pictured this weekend attempting to calm down his club captain Anas Zniti, who he allegedly had a fallout with last week, as he nearly came to blows with disgruntled supporters outside Loftus Versfeld, following their 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The league champions are currently in sixth place, ten points behind league leaders RS Berkane after 13 games played.
Meanwhile, they have yet to register a victory in the CAF Champions League with two defeats and a draw in Group B alongside Sundowns, ASFAR and AS Maniema Union.
