Seema On Mbule Ahead Of Sundowns Clash

Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema opted to speak about midfielder Sipho Mbule before being asked about his situation the club.

Mbule, currently on loan at Sundowns, is reported to have been suspended over breaching protocols during their recent camp ahead of facing Richards Bay this week.

In the match where they lost 2-1 with a last-minute strike from Thabiso Kutumela, his creative speak was a notable absence from Seema’s side.

While he was ineligible to face Sundowns in the quarter-final of the Nedbank Cup, Seema looked to address the situation of his alleged suspension before being probed by the media.

“Before the questions, I want to answer before they ask,” Seema said ahead of their Nedbank Cup quarter-final.

“Colleagues, please I’m not going to say anything about the issue of our player Sipho Mbule.

“Any questions about Sipho Mbule I wouldn’t be in a position to answer it at the moment and he was not going to be available anyway for this fixture.

“So let us not bring his name. What can only say is we await the proper official statement from the club once all is settled.

“I know we all like him, we all like to know, but for now I think I’ve answered all of you.”

Babina Noko travel to Lucas Masterpeices Moripe Stadium on Saturday evening (20h00).
