TS Galaxy defender Samukelo Kabini is set for a R15-million transfer to Molde FK subject to paperwork being finalised this week.
The two clubs have agreed a transfer fee after Molde made a direct move for the player, having sent scouts to assess him during one of their recent league outings.
Kabini, 20, who had been on the radar of domestic rivals Vålerenga, impressed Molde representatives in attendance, who have been on the lookout for a new left-sided defender after the sale of Mathias Løvik to Serie A side Parma in January.
They moved swiftly to agree terms with Galaxy, as Vålerenga offered a loan with an option to buy, in similar deals struck with Cape Town City last season for Nathan Idumba Fasika and Brice Ambina, with the latter having that option taken upon winning promotion.
The deal which is around R15-million, excluding add-ons will prove to be a record sale for the Rockets who have made a couple of transfers abroad with Djakaridja Junior Traoré joining Istanbulspor and Aphelele Teto to Livingston.

Kabini looks set to secure his visa and necessary paperwork to Norway next week to complete the move, for the club who are currently in the last-16 of the UEFA Conference League.
Their transfer window officially closes on 27 March ahead of their league opener against Sarpsborg at their home venue, the Aker Stadion, three days later.
